5 Reasons I Prefer Books Over Kindle

Or any eBook reader for that matter.

1. I love the smell of books. Seriously, it’s like crack to me. I have a similar reaction to the smell of new carpet and petrol.

2. I can’t sleep on or drool all over a Kindle. I literally wake up with books stuck to my face and I’m pretty sure that the rough play would eventually break the Kindle.

3. No tear stains. 99% of good books can and will make me cry. How am I supposed to remember if the book was good or not if I can’t find tear stains?

4. The battery never dies. I can’t imagine anything more distressing happening that your book switching off and demanding to be recharged.

5. Second-hand books! I actually stole this one from someone else’s list. I bought a second hand book for 39p yesterday, good luck getting prices like that for eBooks.

I’m just too tactile for this modern era of reading. NGL I might get one.eventually.
